Jennifer's Family Photos on the Mall

 My friend Jennifer took her family to the Mall for their holiday photos.

The Mall in downtown Washington D.C., that is.

I photographed Jennifer and her family last winter, when there was snow on the ground. This time, we still had beautiful color on the leaves. And even though the temps could have been a little warmer, we still got some great shots of this beautiful family and the monuments.

Jose and Joyce

Jose and Joyce were married in a beautiful garden wedding at Glen Gardens recently, surrounded by good friends and family from all over the world, as she hails from Lebanon and he served in the Army. They both currently live and work in Kuwait, where they met and fell in love. Standing alongside his adorable children and nieces, as well as siblings and friends, the two pledged their vows to each other under a warm, summer sky. And for a few hours after, everyone celebrated with dancing and music, and a feast of delicious Lebanese food. It was one of the most fun celebrations and I was honored to be a part of it.
